Acidic body
Basic lime (calcium/magnesium carbonate mixture) and the stomach's hydrochloric acid (HCl) form calcium chloride (CaCl2) and bicarbonate (HCO3). When this process is complete – saturated – the basic lime continues down into the intestine and forms new bonds with calcium and magnesium together with the acids present there, such as lactic acid and ascorbic acid, which then become calcium lactate and calcium ascorbate, respectively.
These calcium or magnesium bonds enter the body on the body's terms because they are formed in the intestine and not in a chemical factory. The carbonates in the lime that "remain" continue down into the intestinal system and alkalize the entire intestine there.
Local acidity may exist that carbonates cannot deal with. An acid that carbonates easily neutralize is carbonic acid. Most people are far too carbonated – over-acidic. A highly over-acidic intestine always reacts with diarrhea at the beginning of an de-acidification. After a few days, the stomach settles down and functions as usual. An internal alkaline environment generally leads to better enzyme, hormone, and gut bacteria function.
All acidic people – especially Westerners – need to raise their oxygen levels to meet the excess hydrogen. If you then stop doing what creates and maintains the high levels of hydrogen, it is easier to achieve normal balance.
