  • The foundation of pH-Balans is laid

The beginning

pH-Balans was founded by Kurt Sandvik after many years of personal interest in the body's balance, minerals, and natural ingredients.

Drawing on his own experience and in-depth knowledge of herbalism, nutrition, and acid-base balance, he developed pH-kalk® – a balanced combination of calcium and magnesium carbonate.

The next generation takes over

After many years with pH-Balans, Kurt Sandvik retired. Sara Gårdbäck, who had worked closely with Kurt for eight years, took over the business.

The company continued to develop with the same core idea: natural products, personal service, and knowledge of the body's balance.

  • One central place for warehousing, packing, and service

Moving to Hedekas

The business moved to Hedekas, where pH-Balans gained a more unified home for warehousing, packing, and customer service.

The move was an important step in continuing to work close to the products, with short lead times and good control over quality and deliveries.

  • Preserving the history while developing the brand

A new chapter with Sweden Naturals

In 2025, Sweden Naturals took over pH-Balans with a focus on preserving the company's history while developing the brand for the future.

The goal is to continue offering natural mineral- and plant-based products for daily balance – with a clearer product range, more stable operations, and continued close contact with customers and retailers.
