The rosehips are picked in Macedonia, Germany, Bulgaria, and other places in Europe. We try to keep transport distances as short as possible for the sake of the environment.
Rosehip is one of the richest sources of vitamin C known, with up to 60 times more vitamin C than citrus fruits. Just one hectogram of dried rosehips contains 270 mg of vitamin C.
Rosa Canina, or dog rose, grows wild along the coastlines in countries such as Denmark and Sweden, so it's excellent for self-picking during the season. The bushes thrive in nutrient-poor soils like on hills, in thickets, and along roadsides. Similar edible rosehip varieties can also be found inland.
Usage
Consume 1-3 tablespoons daily. The powder can be mixed into juice or sprinkled on yogurt. Do not heat it!
You can make a delicious smoothie from rosehips and our blueberry and nettle powders, along with flaxseed oil and juice!

- Swedish blueberries are picked in Norrland (slightly coarser powder as it's a small producer with less drying capacity) by local or hired pickers from Europe. We perform random checks at AK lab in Borås.
- European berries are picked in countries with little industry and much forest, providing employment opportunities in rural areas – Macedonia, Romania, Bulgaria.
Usage Very suitable for daily consumption. Mix into smoothies or juice. Perfect as a flavoring or coloring agent. Do not heat the powder above 42 degrees Celsius, as heat will destroy its fine nutritional properties. Did you know? Usage Bring water to a boil and add the powder. Then immediately reduce the heat and let the water steep until it has a dark golden-brown color. Those who want to try a more complex method that extracts the maximum from the chaga should place it in water at a temperature of 65 degrees Celsius and let it simmer gently for 4-5 days. This also preserves the proteins, sterols, and enzymes in the mushroom. Chaga has a natural "vanilla-like" tone, similar to rooibos tea, mixed with notes of forest.
