Salty
People need salt. And by that, we mean mineral salts, not table salt. Salt cravings do not indicate a desire for a single mineral (sodium) but are a sign of a general mineral deficiency.
All minerals in the body work together. Therefore, a natural salt, from for example the sea or mountains, contains up to 80 different minerals.
Mineral salts are actually sufficiently available in fruits, berries, vegetables, root vegetables, herbs, and grains. A salt overdose from, for example, pork and cheese, eventually leads to deposits on the smooth surfaces of joints and in muscle fibers, causing such narrowing that blood flow becomes difficult. This increases the pressure on the heart muscle, leading to high blood pressure. High systolic pressure can lead to a cerebral infarction, while high diastolic pressure can cause a myocardial infarction.
Too much salt can cause disturbances/small bleeds on the stomach lining, as well as impaired taste and smell. Salt deposits can also occur in the skin and lungs. Kidney ailments, joint problems, psoriasis, nervous problems, sweating, poor wound healing, irritation, eczema, bladder problems, and more can largely be due to a salt/sodium overdose.
Feel free to try cutting back on your salt overdose for a few weeks and observe the results yourself. One risk of stopping abruptly is withdrawal symptoms. Just as the body reacts to other things it perceives as toxic, such as caffeine, alcohol, and nicotine. Experiment and find what works for you!
A healthy person's kidneys can normally excrete about 5 grams per day. The other excretory organs, such as the skin, which is far too salty in most people, have to handle the rest.
Factory-produced chemical salt is inorganic, meaning it lacks life. If you consume a lot of sodium, then at least take a potassium supplement to maintain the important sodium/potassium balance. If this balance is neglected, the manic expression often seen in many increases. Lithium works well against these "manic urges" – there is a lot of lithium in thyme and some in rose hips. Eat them regularly.
We need about 0.5 grams of salt per day but consume 15 times that amount.
Something else that can affect the skeleton are metabolic diseases such as psoriasis, rheumatism, arthritis, SLE, diabetes, and others. These diseases extract minerals – primarily calcium – from the buffer (the skeleton). This lowers the pH value, leading to pain and stiffness. All pain is a sign of acid excess/oxygen deficiency.
Drink large quantities of water to flush out the overdosed amount of salt. Even when consuming impure water, the body is drained of primarily alkalis such as calcium, magnesium, and potassium. Consuming nettle and rose hips helps to balance this.
