The baobab tree grows in Africa and Asia and has proven to be very useful. In some places, baobab is called the "monkey bread tree" because baboons have happily munched on its fruit for years. The tree yields large edible fruits, and it is the fruit's core that is dried and ground into powder. The raw material has long been used and appreciated in local customs in its area of origin.

This bitter herb mixture is composed of 11 selected herbs according to Maria Treben's recipe for making Swedish Bitters. The composition of the herbs has been carefully put together with knowledge of nature's pantry.

In Europe, hardly any other herb mixture has endured as long through the ages as Swedish Bitters. It was forgotten for centuries but rediscovered by the Austrian herbalist Maria Treben when she came across a 250-year-old manuscript.

Birch ash largely consists of potassium carbonates and has traditionally been used due to the high pH value of its decoction (approx. 14). We often have an excessively high salt (sodium) intake through our diet. In addition to trying to reduce daily sodium consumption, which binds fluid in the body, one can use potassium as an antidote. Birch ash is a combination of minerals and oxygen.

Usage Traditional recipe for birch ash extract: Mix approx. 4-5 tablespoons of birch ash with 1 liter of water in a stainless steel saucepan. Boil for 15 minutes with the lid on. Let cool. Then strain the decoction through a coffee filter. The finished extract should be stored in a cool place or in the refrigerator and consumed within two months. Take approx. 2-3 tablespoons a couple of times a day in at least 1.5 - 2 dl of water. Never drink undiluted decoction!

Contents 100% pure birch ash from northern Finland

Xylitol is a sugar alcohol used as a low-calorie sweetener. It is categorised as a polyalcohol or sugar alcohol (alditol) and is naturally found in low concentrations in the fibres of many fruits and vegetables. It can be extracted from various berries, oats, and mushrooms, and can be produced by the action of yeast on the xylose in fibrous material.

Our blueberry powder contains whole berries with seeds and skins that have been dried at room temperature to preserve all vital nutrients in the best possible way. Approximately one-tenth of the berries remain after drying and pressing, so for every kilogram of blueberry powder, ten kilograms of fresh berries are used. We primarily use our powder for its nutritional value – meaning taste and color take a backseat for the best nutritional value and an affordable price (so that larger quantities can be consumed). The berry powder we offer is first pressed, then dried and pulverized to utilize the seeds and skin where most of the nutrients are located. In dried, pulverized form, larger quantities can then be consumed, for example, for vision and digestion. Our berries come from either Sweden/Norrland or from southeastern Europe. We would prefer to only source from Sweden, but due to raw material shortages, we also import from Europe. Nutritionally, they are similar, but the European berries have less flavor due to fewer hours of sunshine. The difference between the various berry forms available: - Fresh berries are always best, but they are difficult to eat and store in therapeutic quantities. - Pressed and dried powders: high nutritional content and affordable price, but less flavor and color. Fewer transports. - Juice: not as much nutrition, but lots of flavor and color. - Freeze-dried: most nutritious of the powders, lots of flavor and color, and easy to consume in therapeutic quantities – but unfortunately, completely unaffordable for therapy. - Unpressed and dried powders: difficult to obtain because strong drying is required to dry them without pressing first. Often, they must be dried at higher temperatures, which reduces nutritional value. These also require more and refrigerated transports because they cannot be frozen or compacted like pressed powders.

1. Swedish blueberries are picked in Norrland (slightly coarser powder as it's a small producer with less drying capacity) by local or hired pickers from Europe. We perform random checks at AK lab in Borås.
2. European berries are picked in countries with little industry and much forest, providing employment opportunities in rural areas – Macedonia, Romania, Bulgaria.

They are collected by a German company that is involved in the entire process and conducts a total of 9 lab tests on all batches. Blueberries are naturally rich in vitamins, minerals, and fatty acids. They also contain plenty of sterols and antioxidants – primarily the pigment anthocyanin.

Usage Very suitable for daily consumption. Mix into smoothies or juice. Perfect as a flavoring or coloring agent. Do not heat the powder above 42 degrees Celsius, as heat will destroy its fine nutritional properties. Did you know? Blueberries were used in folk medicine as a remedy for diarrheal diseases and other stomach ailments. Boiled blueberries were recommended for diarrhea, while raw berries were considered good for constipation. 📌 Energy bars with blueberry powder and naked oats

A Swedish organic camelina oil that takes functional food to the next level. Camelina oil is a versatile oil that can be used for food, skin care, hair care, and to give animal feed an extra boost.

It is rich in omega 3, 6, and 9 with a naturally high concentration of vitamin E (antioxidants). The distribution of omega oils shows that camelina oil has more than twice as much omega 3 as 6 (approx. 38% omega 3, 18% omega 6, and 14% omega 9), an almost perfect balance not naturally found in any other oil.

Camelina oil is also rich in vitamin E, which, together with the omega fatty acids, has a positive effect on increased elasticity and softening. This makes camelina oil very suitable for skin and hair care.

For food, camelina oil gives a round and nutty taste with a hint of grass. Some say the taste is reminiscent of summer. Drizzle it over a salad, add to dressings and marinades, or fry with it instead of olive oil.

Camelina oil is a popular ingredient in many paleo recipes and vegan dishes. It can withstand heating to over 245 degrees Celsius without losing its beneficial properties.

1-2 tsp of camelina oil corresponds to the daily requirement of omega-3. (Note 1)

Organic cold-pressed camelina oil. Grown (in Tystberga) and produced in Sweden. 250 ml. From Camelina of Sweden.
