pH strips for testing the body's acidity. The more hydrogen ions a solution contains in relation to the number of oxygen molecules, the lower (more acidic) the pH value. Since our cells constantly need oxygen, a low pH value can be described as having an oxygen deficiency, which damages the body's general condition and leads to imbalances (diseases). With the help of these pH strips, you can get a decent indicator of your body's pH value by measuring your urine yourself and comparing the color change with the accompanying scale. The lower down the scale your measurement results fall, the more acidic it is, but even a basic value can indicate strong acidification as the kidneys form ammonium when they "capture" strong acids from the blood. This is, among other things, to prevent corrosion on its way out of the body. The value should be relatively consistently at pH (6.8-) 7, which is neutral like water.
